Do You Have a Daily Method of Operation?

How many times have you heard from people you look up to that have succeeded in your business the phrase, "Treat your business like a business and it will pay you like a business, treat your business like a hobby and it will pay you like a hobby"?

To be honest, early in my network marketing career I treated my business like a hobby. I mean most who are in network marketing have a full-time job working for someone else, so we do our business part-time.  So what little time you have, you work your business. That's what I did. I would work on my business when I found the time to do it. That meant maybe I would work on it for a couple of hours on Monday after work, nothing on Tuesday, an hour on Wednesday, maybe three hours on Thursday, a half an hour on Friday and nothing on the weekend.

Now what type of success do you think I had doing that?

Right!

Very little.

It wasn't until I went to an internet marketing seminar and learned what I was really suppose to be doing. I was suppose to have what the speaker called, "A Daily Method of Operation"

Do you have a daily method of operation to run your business? If you don't, you'll probably wind up like I did spinning your wheels and spending more and more money without seeing any come back to make a profit.

Your daily method of operation involves you having a marketing plan with a marketing budget. The reason this is called a marketing PLAN is because your goal is to do this consistently. Do you know how much money you have available to promote your business on a monthly basis? If you don't, you need to start there. Will it be $200, $300, $500, $1000 a month?

Note: I am a tax professional so I can say this. The majority of your advertising expenses can be written off via Schedule C. That means any money you invest (notice I didn't say spend?) in promoting your business is a deduction expense for you.

So you have a number in mind? Now what are you doing? Are you buying leads?   Solo ads?  SMS Text Blasting?  Voice Broadcasting?  Ringless Voicemail Broadcasting?

The program you choose to promote will determine your profit potential. So let's say that your advertising budget is $500 a month. If youre promoting a program thats only pays $100 per sale that means that youll have to make at least 5 sales per month to recoup your advertising budget and basically break even.

One thing that was taught to me a long time ago is that the same advertising that generates a $100 sale will generate a $1000 sale. Personally I think you should always have at least one high ticket business in your portfolio. By high ticket I mean you should be making AT LEAST $1000 for every transaction MINIMUM.

I personally think that your goal for a high ticket business should be to earn at least $1000 per transaction.

Which is why in addition to my networking marketing business I've been fortunate enough to have some success where I invested in a high ticket program. I don't promote it here much because I know the vast majority of networkers aren't able to afford $1000-$6000 to join.

But if you care to take a look at what I'm doing as far as high ticket is concerned, by all means check out Six-Figure Empire. This business totally changed my life.

And as I said before, the same advertising that can generate a $100 sale will generate a $1000 sale. Think a few sales of $1000 each every month would change anything for you?
