Empowering women

I want to share a story with you. I am a wife, mother, and a college student it would seem I have the perfect life. On the outside it would seem I do, but for years I have been struggling within with low-self-esteem and lack of confidence within myself. I was also born blind in my left eye which means I am not only blind but I have no muscle or nerve so it goes off to the left. This has been a huge flaw I can't stand to look at daily because I think it is ugly. I figured if I went back to school I would regain some sort of confidence, I was wrong. It was just a temporary fix. I needed something to lift me. A year ago I was introduced to a makeup line called Younique. It was a bit pricey for my taste at first but I wanted to give it a try and see what all the hype was about. I fell in love with the make-up, it lasted a long time and worked as it stated it would. When I put it on I felt good, being a mom staying at home I never get dressed up to feel good about myself. However, this makeup would hide those imperfections that I wanted to hide or brighten my eyes. Recently I took a leap of faith and became a presenter and the amount of support from women all around the world gave me the hope within that I finally found something I am passionate about! Daily I see beautiful women without make-up and with make-up, I have realized we all have imperfections which makes us beautiful! I am not selling this makeup to make women pretty because we all already are, but I am selling this make up to make women feel good! We all deserve to feel good and feel our best! We as women need to lift each other up, I see so many women bringing each other down, but we are beautiful in every aspect. What more could I want then to be able to improve a woman’s outlook on herself, to help women take control again! I am not saying this company has fully changed me yet, I have not been involved as a presenter for a long period of time. However, the little time I have been here I have improved, so I am excited to see what the future holds, and the friends I will make along the way!
