You may have heard of Colour Me Beautiful? It’s been a successful company in the style and image industry for the last 35 years. Their mission is to help women with their top-to-toe image using colour confidence as their focus.
Now they are launching their spin-off company called Colour Me Beautiful At Home, and yes, you can see from the ‘At home’ part that it is aimed at people who’d like to work from home. Cliff Bashforth, the owner and MD of Colour Me Beautiful UK, is passionate about making the company’s service more accessible to women, by enabling their MAKEUP range to be promoted through MLM.
I have signed up with CMB@HOME as an Elite Founder. There are 100 of us who met with Cliff and his networking partners in June 2017. We are on a mission to empower as many women as we can by advising them on their best colours of makeup. Yes, it’s all about the colours we put on our eyes, lips and cheeks that will make us either look ill, old and just eurgh(!) OR they make us look healthier, younger and sparkly by enhancing our natural features!
Let me explain a little bit.... there’s no sense in wearing a lipstick that looks amazing on a blonde blue-eyed lady if YOU are dark haired, dark eyed with a warmer, deeper skin tone! Why, it won’t suit you (not as flattering as the other lady anyway!) There’s more to it than that, but I’m sure you get the gist. Everyone can wear purple, but it depends WHICH purple - heather, lilac, aubergine, mauve, lavender.......
It’s not rocket science, it’s colour science!
So, this amazing man - Cliff Bashforth - comes up with makeup shades to suit ALL colouring types. We, as advisors, are transforming lives! How? We give makeovers and colour assessments to clients for FREE, either individually or through small parties. The ladies learn their dominant colour type, what colours suit them best and what makes their eyes go PING - what makes people say to them “Wow, you look amazing,” “You look really well,” “You look so much younger!” P.S importantly, they still look like themselves rather than masking themselves to look like someone else.
After the FREE consultation, they have the opportunity to order. And they do! (This is where we make commission) They’re going to buy ONLY what suits them, what flatters them, what makes them feel a million dollars! They build up their own personalised palette of colours that will get used, saving money, saving waste. This is CMB’s jewel in the crown - the magnetic compact - which holds individual refills. Keep a customer for life, as when they run out they can order again.
The compact holds eyeshadows, blushers and lip gloss. We also have eye pencils, lip pencils, lipsticks, lip glosses, mascaras, bronzer, primers, foundations, corrective colour primers.. All of these, with plenty of choice for each colouring type.
As I mentioned, I’m one of the first 100 in the UK. We are currently looking to fill the 500 UK Founder positions, of which there are about 50 left. Founders start on 25% and progress to 30%. Advisors starting after that will start on 20%. You can build a team in your area and earn more. Being in at the beginning has huge potential for that residual income you’re going for. I’m sure you appreciate how being amongst the first in an MLM can impact you!
