Do you plan for success, or simply hope it will happen?

There are many people out in the business world, who will tell you that to become successful, you MUST have a business plan.

Well yes and no.

The yes side is about seeking funding, but I have seen many business plans, that mean absolutely nought in real life and that is a massive issue on its own.

On the no side, it comes down to what you are seeking to achieve.

If anything, I would spend more time on devising and writing plans to ensure your marketing works, rather than concerning yourself with finances.

Network marketing has a low entry point, which makes it very accessible to all.

That also means it is a relatively low risk investment too, when say compared with a franchise operation, which could cost £250,000 or more and a commitment to five years on the licence.

True there are many banks who will lend the money, but the challenge is then to make it pay.

Low entry point means a fast return on your time and investment.

So paying over £200 or less is a sensible decision as a starting point on your journey to financial success.

Many network marketing business have what are called fast track plans – these are tried and tested ways to give you a fast start and get some money in your pocket. If a business does not have one, then my suggestion is to look elsewhere.

Planning for success covers many aspects:

How big is your market?

Who is your ideal customer?

Is your offer compelling?

Why is it compelling?

Does the company add services or products that your customers will buy?

Is it easy for a customer to sign up?

How many customers do I need each month to meet my targets?

Are my targets realistic?

How much time do I need to invest to become what I see as successful?

What help can I get from Head Office, colleagues and outside organisations/people?

What self development do I need to do?

Are there words I am allowed to use or not use?

What training does the company provide?

Actually writing it all down – so nothing is about relying on your brain.
