Winner- Your Road to Success 2020
Everyone wants to be a winner. And there are winners around us every day.
The problem is recognizing them for who they are. And because looks are deceiving, 90% of us miss the opportunity to connect with them. We also miss the mark because we try to judge winners according to our physical level and our mental status.
This often fails because we do not see ourselves as or feel that we are winners.
So, what is a winner exactly? This is somewhat of a trick question because the word gives a false reading on what a winner is, again according to our thinking.
And our thinking has been shaped according to our life's experiences both good and bad. This way of defining the word happens automatically and most times the definition is already active without us even hearing or saying the
word.
Most online dictionaries define the word winner as such:
- One that wins
- One that is successful especially through praiseworthy
ability and hard work.
- A victor especially in games and sports.
- One that wins admiration.
We know there are hundreds of definitions and opinions of what defines the word winner, so we are just using a few definitions as a launching pad to our discussion.
The next question or thought might be:
What makes a person a winner?
Again, here are a few listed suggestions we will use for a framework for our discussion.
- Winners amazingly visualize and seek the good in others and
themselves.
- Winners are often time committed dreamers. They see a different
reality than most people see.
- Winners are inspirations to others simply because of their unflinching drive
to success.
- Winners un-apologetically cause a stir when entering a setting because
their mere presence demands others strive for success also.
- Winners understand that inside their success is a collective of others who had
a hand in their success even when the others are unaware. This act alone
build greatness that affects the many and uplifting the few.
Have you ever had someone walk into a room, whether you know them or not, their sheer presence changes the atmosphere. And you may not even see the person who has caused the atmospheric change but you feel it and know something is different.
Is being a winner all that important? According to basic everyday living this question can easily be answered. And despite many mindsets and experimental knowledge, being a winner is or maybe the most important ideal that a person can have and must achieve in life. So based on the last sentence, being a Winner is an absolute must!
And being a winner is the master plan in achieving emotional, practical, intense, fruitful, determined, and affluent path in life. Think about this. We were created to win. How can I say this? Just look at the workings of our bodily systems which were designed to empower the human body to heal itself, grow uncontrollably, digest food and nourish the bodily systems and etc.
How when you fall you don't have to even think about reaching out with your hands because this happens automatically. Our brain works tirelessly to inform us how to keep the body comfortable. These are basic functions, but all evolve about the body winning in life by design. God makes no mistakes. And as we live
our lives, we strive to win a spot in heaven for a life well spent for those of us who believe.
Accept it or not, our life's ambition is to win at everything we can and do. Have you ever heard anyone shout out, "Man, I can Wait to Lose"?
Didn't think so.
Success and fulfillment are the underlying fuels that burn tirelessly to ensure we win. Mentally, spiritually, and physically.
Next let's look at a few things that could be designated as suggestions to help us reached the level of a Winner.
* We set up realistic goals according to us personally
Setting these according to someone else usually defeats us before we ever
begin.
* We set up markers based on what we know about ourselves as arrows
pointing towards our goal to keep us on track and heading in the right
direction.
* We begin or strive to handle own our known responsibilities. This is key
because we know exactly what we must do when others have no
idea of our responsibilities because they should be concentrating on their
own.
* We must define the elephant in the room which is what we define as winning
verses losing. This one think may be the most important concept for us
because winning and losing are relative terms that could very much mean the
opposite of what most believe.
* We must be fearless and be stronger even in failure.
* We must be glad at the start of each new day and realize someone may not
have opened their eyes this morning. Thinking like this will push us to be
thankful for every sunrise we see and every hardship we go through.
* We must review our actions for the day and make adjustments when needed.
As a Man Thinketh- winning The Mental Battleground
Basically, we have been discussing the mental battleground with each word I and you have read. This mental battleground is the battle that must be won. Because so many things go into the mental battleground, we must be ready and
willing to suffer through the battle if necessary. And this battle may take
longer than any other battle we have ever fought or faced. Why? Simply because our mental battleground has been waging from early childhood to the present.
Every ill word, every hideous act, every lie, ever hurt, every slip, every fall,
every ..........must I continue to add more hurts? I don't think so.
at some point in time this gigantic battleground must be cleared of all it's
dead. Cleaned of all its trash and rubbish. Cleaned of all the rot that has
been there for years. It's no wonder that we struggle so much. And yes, we know we have these mental trash dumps, what we don't realize that they are the strongholds and the blockages that hold us back in business and life. They affect everything we do so somehow and some way we MUST change this landscape.
And it is up to each of us individually to handle this problem.
Here is my advice based on my personal experience:
1- Realize YOU are extra special- There is only One YOU
2- It has taken a lifetime to pile up all this garbage- It will take time to
clean it up.
3- Take your time and be meticulous- get it all out, every bit. hold nothing.
4- Take a good look back over your life, see yourself then and see yourself now.
You will find that it is amazing we have come this far and if we came this far
we can continue forward.
5- Redesign your thoughts- Do this daily until you believe and know it is true.
Know that you are better than you have ever been. You are stronger than you
have ever been, smarter!!!!!!
6- Set your own definitions for what success and failure mean. What winning
and losing mean.
7- Always be thankful for all you have. It could be worst!
As I approach the end of report, I want you to realize one thing Right Now, Right
Here. You are a Winner. Always have been and always will be.
I have found that life is a paradox. When you win you lose and vice versa. And that's Kool.
Because every loss has made me stronger, wiser, and smarter.
Every step and misstep have given me direction.
And when I walk into a room the atmosphere must change because of me. Why? Because I Am A Winner, and no one can ever take that fact away from me.
This day everything changes for you!!!!!
