How To Be Irresistible To Your Perfect Client

Good morning. How's it going? Back at the old homestead this morning.

I started off my day reading some emails from a guy that I get a lot of good stuff from. And of course, being a copywriter, it's all about persuasion and influence and stuff like that.

And it comes to me as I'm reading all this stuff, as I come out here to let the dogs out, that the sexiest thing you can do in order to persuade people, and I'm not just talking about being attractive to the opposite sex. I'm talking about anybody that you're attempting to have a conversation with.

And that's confidence. And confidence comes from knowing what you're doing.

I have this theory on everything. It's called The Guy. A lot of people think that as an entrepreneur you have to come up with every answer there ever was and oh, if there's something I don't know how to do, then my task is to learn how to do it.

This is completely wrong. You call The Guy.

There are guys and girls out there who can do stuff that you can't do. They're always going to be better at it. They can do it faster, better and cheaper than you can. There's no point in attempting to learn everything. You want to do what you do best, and then hire people to do everything else.

I realize I'm covering a lot of ground here. Rule number one for an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs create jobs for other people. Self-employed people create a job for themselves. Think about that. Not only do they create a job for themselves, every time they try to do something new, but they also end up having to learn something else.

This will slow you down, and ruin your progress, and destroy your business. I want to say faster than anything else, but there are so many things that can derail you. This is just one, but it's very important.

As an entrepreneur, your goal is to find someone who can do what you need done, cheaper and faster than you can do it on your own. Your profit is the margin between what you pay them, and what you charge for what you create.

I realize it's a really deep sentence. Just replay it, and think about it, because it's very important.

Well, the reason those guys get called all the time is because they know what they're doing. And because of that, that's why they have confidence. And that's why when you find someone who's the person you want to call, you get convinced that they know what they're doing and you call them and why they're The Guy.

That's why you have to be The Guy at what you do. You specialize in that, make sure you know what you're doing and your confidence will come through.

And the opposite side of this is also true. If you're one of those people that believe this lie, this garbage of fake it until you make it. Understand this. Your inability to do what you claim you can do, will come through, people will know it. You will become needy, desperately seeking that sale, and that will further erode your credibility until you can't sell anything or get anything done.

And then, you know, most people will quit at that point because they never learned some of the stuff I'm talking to you about in these videos.

So keep all that in mind. Work on knowing what you want to do and that will automatically bring the confidence that makes you attractive to the customers you're attempting to attract.

That's what I got for this morning. It's a great day out here.
