A little bit about me , Read Below!
As a child, I displayed an early interest, which would span across many disciplines. They would include chemistry, biology, public health, cardiovascular medicine, veterinary medicine, human nutrition, art, science fiction, and emergency medicine. During high school, I worked as a veterinary assistant, learning about animal husbandry, and comparative - vertebrate anatomy. Working with animals helped me to appreciate the association between animals and people. I realized that many disorders (and diseases) could be prevented in animals by employment of optimal nutritional efficiency. In addition, I wanted to make a difference in the lives of as many people (and animals) that I would meet.
As an undergraduate, I studied life sciences, focusing on biology, and chemistry, which earned me a baccalaureate in science. Microbiology was a favorite course of mine. It had its limitations, in that its focus was primarily on “infectious diseases”, and not about noninfectious diseases. I enjoy helping others in their successes, as I believe that there is “no greater service than serving your fellow man”. I began learning how life works, what makes us sick, and what helps us to heal. I began to see how nutrition could prevent many infectious as well as noninfectious diseases. As a graduate student, I chose to study a discipline that can be used around the world; Public Health! This has earned me a Master’s of Science Degree. This field allowed me to study diseases, their patterns, understand morbidity rates and mortality rates, and has equipped me with the skills to helps individuals to enhance the overall quality of their lives.
