Network Marketing Tip: Help More People Then The Money Will Follow

If you are in network marketing then you must have bought into the hype of being able to earn a six figure income in a year or 5 figures in 6 months.

I was one of those who bought into it and when I joined I set out on a direction to get as many customers as possible and sign up as many distributors as I could.

Sadly things did not go as I expected it to be.

Why? Because I was focused on selling a product that people just did not want to buy. Or so I believed.

The thing about marketing is that they make it seem so easy. Put up an ad, make it attractive and get a flock of buyers to your sales page.

Build Relationships

What I learnt however that marketing is all about building relationships. Of course you can get a few sales if you try the sell/buy tactic but you want to maximise your advertising budget by getting the most sales out of it.

As I continued in my online marketing journey, which was new by the way, I realised that I had to do more than just sell.

I had to actually get to know my prospects and get them to know me. To this day there are people still on my email list who opted in from last year that still read my emails but have not joined me.

Why is that? Because they take their own time to get to know me, like me and trust me.

Give More

In network marketing you will always hear about this. You want to become someone who shows others that you genuinely want to help them.

If you find a way to help more people, then more people will become attracted to you. How does this work?

So let’s say that you’re in the weight loss niche. Your ideal prospects are those people who want to lose weight. Maybe they are struggling to lose weight and you are very confident in your product.

Instead of pitching to them about your product and how they should buy it, consider showing your prospect how your product can help them lose weight by using examples of other people that the product has helped.

It will be even better if you have used the product yourself and testify as to the effectiveness of the product in helping you lose weight.

Be Confident And Passionate

When you show up consistently and exert confidence and passion for your product you can actually attract your prospects to like you because your posts inspire, motivate or encourage.

So that’s my tip for you. If you want money to come into your business, focus first on helping other people. A great quote that explains this effectively is this: "Some entrepreneurs think how can I make a lot of money? But the better way is to think how can I make other people's lives a lot better. If you get it right the money will come."
