What Makes Network Marketing Different from Regular Sales
Network marketing is a unique business model in which you reap the rewards of your own sales as well as benefiting from the sales of your downline. When most people enter network marketing they absolutely lack the skills and mindsets necessary to be successful. There are many people who have quit network marketing because of a lack of good leadership. I was involved with a network marketing company for 14 years and really had no idea what I was doing. I loved the products and have an absolute conviction that when they are properly used can be of a great benefit to almost anyone. I called the company one day and asked for help an one of the leaders of the company took me under their wings. It is amazing to me what a difference that has made. I now realize that when someone joins my organization they don't work for me, I worked for them. I now realize that I am not in business to make money, but rather to help people solve a problem. When you solve other people's problems the money will take care of itself.
When an individual joins my organization I want them first of all to develop a belief in the quality of the products that we sell. I do not want people on my team who do not use or believe in our products. When a person first joins my organization I simply want them to be a customer while they go through the training program. There is a right way and a wrong way to launch your business. Network marketing is built on Biblical principles, not to be confused with religion. One of the significant differences in network marketing is that you develop a small team which in turn will each develop a small team of their own. You establish a personal relationship with each member on the team. Your personal development in many cases may be of greater value to you than the products that you sell.
Our educational system has not taught you how to be a business owner. It has taught you to be an employee and exchange your time for dollars. It has not taught you the Biblical concept of money. It has not taught the concept of servant leadership. It has failed to teach true success concepts. I taught occupational drafting in public high school for 10 years. A local industry offered me a job to be the design engineer. The products that I designed made the company a very significant sum of money. It was during this time that I realized I was simply trading time (my life) for dollars. This is when I became involved in network marketing. I used the products and shared their benefits with many people, I had limited success. It was not until I finally got a good mentor that showed me how to set written goals, helped in personal development, and help me realize that a few quality people are the real keys to success.
I now specialize in being a life coach. My goal is to help those who are coming down the road behind me to avoid some of the hurdles and pitfalls that I had. The only charge that I have for my services is that you be a customer. I offer a free coaching session for you to see if my program would be of benefit to you. My website is: www.pwproctor.com or reply at MLM gateway.
