I have been in the home business industry since the mid 1980s.  It's no secret that over 90% of people starting a home business have little to no success.  After 30 plus years in the industry I am tired of seeing people spend money with the hope of success and only to fail and feeling bitter toward the industry. Most people joining are doing so because they got filled with a lot of hype on the compensation plan.  They dream of the numbers, we even encourage them to dream big, hoping this pushes past the fear we know is coming.

The industry is broken, we are selling people on their dreams and freedom, while this is possible we know most will not make it.  We start new people telling them to make a list of 100 people (here comes the fear).  Most people are terrified of selling to family and friends, the industry has a bad wrap with the failure rate. Plus after my first 10 years and numerous attempts, the people on my list knew me and never saw any network marketing success in my life, so they would not even listen.  

Now if someone is still with us after the 100 name list, we suggest talking to everyone the meet. Talk about a fear (WOW), talking to a stranger.  At this point if our new person is still with us we encourage them to keep coming to the trainings and it will work.  You can tell when a person is leaving they stop coming to the trainings, and really don't blame them.  I watched people attend for over a year and never sponsored anyone, it was time to give up.  Sad part many leaders look at it as a numbers game and it doesn't phase them that someone just lost their dreams.

The home business industry, especially network marketing is the greatest industry in the world.  But over 90% failure has to change, we have a bad reputation in many homes.

When the internet started spreading around the world many including myself thought "now we can all succeed". That did not happen, the results are about the same over 90% fail.  Primary reason is it truly became a numbers game with capture pages, bridge pages, landing/sales pages and auto-responders with email series going on and on.  The truth about the home business industry is that it is a people business and we need to help people connect without bringing fear into the lives of our new members.

The entire foundation of network marketing is helping people and something needed to change and that's when it hit me The Freedom Alliance Mentoring Group (The FAM).  I launched The FAM the first week of January and am seeing incredible results.  This is no an opportunity and there is no cost, we strictly for helping people achieve and abundant life.
