Ok imagine this if you will, you've started up with a new company. You're so excited you think you may explode. You get new business cards, you start wearing the company t-shirts, drinking out of the mugs, quoting the company lines and slogans, blasting your link all over the Internet, pitching to your friends and family. You focus on doing it right and are on all the training calls, webinars, and you hit your social media feed with post after post after post of promotions, specials, and teasers. Not much happens at first. Then you get a customer. Some time passes and you get a new distributor.Now your really excited! Your on cloud 9. You think to yourself "This thing. it works! I am going to make it all the way to the top this time!"  Then about three weeks passes and something happens. Your customer, they cancel. But that's ok, it's just one customer. You lose a little wind out of your sail but you don't let it stop you. A little more time passes and your new distributor quits and won't even respond to your texts, emails, or calls. So you begin the cycle all over again. You get on the calls, try to get re-motivated, maybe you even attend an event, an there you go again, your off to the races. And the cycle continues. You take 1 step forward. Then 2 or 3 steps backwards. And now you feel discouraged. It's happened again.

After being in sales and marketing for over 20 years now, I've personally dealt with this oh so many times.
