Your WHY must be bigger than your fear! And if you don't have your WHY, GO FIND IT!!! When you think of your WHY it should create a need, an urgency, it may make you feel like you did when you first fell in love, or when you see a movie star. It should make you smile, feel elated, like there is nothing in this world you wouldn’t do to get it.
You are looking into starting a business, you look at many opportunities and wonder if they are right for you, can you do it and so on. The real questions you should be asking are “Is this something I truly feel I could ask others to participate in”, “what is it I like about the company and or opportunity”, and “how much time am I willing to commit to building this into a business”. Your next step is to find an opportunity or business you feel will move you to your WHY with minimal effort and time. As a Small Business Mentor, I have seen people pour hours and hours of their time to fall flat because what they were trying to promote was not something used by the masses. Even though it may be something you feel passionate about does not mean it is what everyone else will feel the same way about.
Think about the habits of people, what do most people like to do? Most people want to own a vehicle, travel, eat, sleep and work after that come owning a home, nice clothes, go to nice restaurants occasionally. So you need to find something that fits within those needs and wants. Not everyone is into investments and savings not saying they shouldn’t. You do not want to have something where you have to educate people to get them involved as that takes time and when you get them educated about what you are doing they may not want it so you have just spent all that time for not.
Product driven companies are good as most people need what you have but again you need so many products to be of benefit. They more products the more likely there is something for everyone.
