Step 1 - The Wheel of Progress: 6 Step Sponsoring Process

Welcome to my step 1 of my six step sponsoring process, that I call "The Wheel of Progress".

What’s the first thing everyone in network marketing does, after they have been told “NO” by all their friends and family?

YEP! They turn to the internet!

But the problem with building a “Network” marketing business online is that, it removes the “networking” aspect from the equation and it becomes all marketing….

And marketing is something that, 99% of most people do wrong!

Don’t believe me?

Just look at any social media site….

With the exception of a few, most people are doing nothing more, than blasting their business opportunity and products all over the place.

That’s not marketing! That’s called spamming!

Trust me I know, because I use to do it. And boy did I get hammered for it LOL!

With “The Wheel of Progress”, you will be able to not only move away from tactics that don’t work….

But you’ll be able to add the “Networking” part back into network marketing!

You’ll discover how to build that relationship and trust, by using a combination of, “Personal Interaction”, along with technology….

But it’s not an overbearing amount of technology nor is it technology that is difficult to utilize.

The point in this, is to keep the process simple enough, where it can be duplicated by those who join you in business.

SO LET’S DIVE INTO STEP 1 - “CREATE”

The first thing you need to do, is get people to find you online and that means creating content….

If they can’t find you, they can’t join you!

And you’re not going to produce just any kind of content, but content that offers value to your visitor.

Now content comes in many forms online:

  • Videos
  • Blog Posts
  • Photo Content (Instagram and Pinterest)
  • Articles on Social Media
  • And On & On

The number one issue, I hear the most from people when they start this step is, “I don’t know what I should talk about!”

Again, I can relate to this, because I said the samething, to the person that shared this with me.

Did you get that?

I learned something from someone, about a specific topic. Then I took what I learned and shared it with others…. See simple.

Let me give you some examples:

Method 1

You watch a great video about how to install Wordpress on your domain.

While watching the video, you right down the 3, 4, 5 or whatever number of steps it takes, in order to complete the install.

You write the steps out in your own words or record a video explaining the steps.

You make a twitter post, which reads; “5 Simple Steps to Install Wordpress” to access click here http://yourdoamin.com.

People that want to know how to do this, click the link and are taken to your capture page or blog or youtube channel, ect.

Method 2

Do what news programs do…. Curate content!

Nearly all news source, get their information from other news agencies. They take key parts of a story, write their opinion about the story or add additional commentary to those parts of the story.....

Here’s a curated post that I wrote on one of my blogs Click Here.

The Huffington Post and BuzzFeed are two of the best at using curation.

Of course if you use this method, be sure to list your source.

See how easy this is?

Find a topic, related to your market, (which by the way is network / internet marketing). Learn something about that topic and share it with others.

Here’s a bonus tip:

Video is without question, the best format to use when sharing content, but most people are scared to death of making a video.

First off! You don’t need an expensive camera and/or microphone….

If you have a higher end mobile phone, you have all you need! Seriously, don’t waste money or thing you need all of that in order to make great videos.

Besides, that’s not very duplicatable!

Here’s bonus part. Record yourself on your mobile phone or whatever you’re using, but don’t upload the video anywhere!

Doing this will get you use to the process but more importantly, it’ll get you over that mental hurdle of worrying how you look and sound on video.

So there it is, step 1 in “The Wheel of Progress”.

If you need help or have questions, please feel free to share them here, so that others can benefit from the information.
