As a Doterra wellness advocate it is my goal (and that of Doterra) to introduce these amazing essential oils in to every home, allowing everyone to take back ownership of their health, both physically and mentally. These oils are sourced from plants that grow in their best enviroment and many are in third world countries. Instead of going into a country and buying the farm, Doterra builds a partnership with the local growers and communities. The farmers are paid at more than 5 times the market rate, allowing them to build and repair their communities and always maintain a steady flow of income. Doterra also have a foundation called Healing Hands, which also raises money and helps these communities with amenities such as building a hospital in a community that was hours away from the closet one.

Through this foundation Doterra also partnered with an organisation called Operation Underground Railroad (OUR rescue) who have made it their mission to find and rescue children who have been sold into slavery. Doterra created an oil blend calling it HOPE that originally was smuggled into these kids, and underneath the label contained numbers they could contact for help. Whilst still used for this purpose, Doterra now sell this blend with 100% of the purchase donated to OURRescue. At the last count (that i could find) this organisation had rescued over 1500 kids!
