The perfect business model, this is how you change the World!

How do you know if you are in the right opportunity/business? How do you choose ? Is one business better than another? How do you decide which opportunity to join? 

First, Today's MLM is very different from your fathers MLM. and the addition of the Internet is truly a game changer. But generating leads and signing up prospects is still a hassle, people don't want to be bothered and many still believe all MLM are a scam and are not to be taken seriously. What do you do?

You should look at your business as a business, You should treat your business like a business, you should share you business like a genuine business opportunity. If you don't, no one will take you seriously. When you share your business, if your prospect shows that they believe you are conducting a scam , do not recruit them unless/until they understand the difference. Never recruit people based on your financial need, share the opportunity and vision you see, teach your prospect the advantages this type of business has over traditional business.

Many people don't understand networking or relationship marketing because it is the opposite of what they have been taught all of their lives. People hate to go against the grain they prefer to move with the herd.

 If you were to study people, the profile of a marketer starts to emerge.

Though the details vary, most people drawn to marketing tend to be looking for independence, the type of marketing they are comfortable with depends on their individual personalities. Those who don't like confrontation prefer to market indirectly. Those who don't mind confrontation and have strong leadership skills do well in MLM.

As I mentioned before if you see your business as a business, it makes sense that you would study the market and decide what you are going to market based on something other than emotion. Most MLM companies are basically trying to market products that are known best sellers are very similar knockoffs. In today's world, the products that are offered are truly cutting edge, but do your research, nowadays technology that is six months old, is outdated. 

I worked with a product that literally became obsolete because existing technology superseded my companies product! Leaving everyone in our company holding useless product. I still remember seeing brand new merchandise on the shelf in a thrift store being sold for pennies!  

I always encourage people to use the internet to do searches to find trends. Trends are important to every marketer because you need to sell things that are popular and that people want and need.  The internet is our "all seeing eye" it eliminates rookie mistakes and sees what my not be obvious to the naked eye.

I like to market products that don't incur extra charges like shipping charges . I hate to sell things that people don't automatically renew, electronic downloads and things that auto ship are my favorite. Digital downloads are great and they make a great first time self produced product offering.

It is important to understand a companies compensation plan and what it takes to become qualified to get paid. I think choosing the correct product makes a huge difference between someone seeing  something that is trendy and desirable versus a hard sale. 

Many people want to take the selling out of this business, it will never happen. Understand that if you don't develop new skills, you limit yourself, and short your paycheck! 

Here is a fact that you may not be aware of , in every company, all departments are in support of sales. Without sales the company, any company, traditional or independently marketed, The company would not exist.

Many people see their joining a MLM as a lottery, As a professional , you should treat your choice of company in the same way as you would look at being hired by a fortune 500 firm. You should do your due diligence and make sure you are joining a reputable company.  As you build your business hire people that realize that their future is tied up in that concept and it is up to them to realize their reality, That is why they are being compensated so exceptionally.

I believe in this business model. MLM has been called the" perfect business model". It has all the elements to allow success for all participants. It is refreshing to find a site like MLM gateway, dedicated to people who see, understand and promote this business model. If you are new to this business, understand that you are here, whether you know it or not, because the traditional business model is obsolete and failing. I love people who jump into marketing and after a week they are ready to "throw in the towel". Remember this is a skill that you must first learn and then Master, it won't happen overnight, but you are learning and earning.
