How I Found the Right MLM Opportunity ...For Me!!

First off, I’m going let you know that I’m a brutally honest person. I’m not about to give you a false sense of hope that venturing into MLM will make you a millionaire. Chances are, you will not become a millionaire from MLM. Could you? Well, yes. Anything is possible with drive, devotion and a lot of time put into it. But let’s be real. Only about 3% of people in MLM actually “make it” to the millions. Now, can you make a decent side income or possibly even a single ‘livable” income from MLM? ABSOLUTELY. To me this is the more logical way to look at MLM, especially when getting started (and having NO experience in marketing at all!). Essentially, it is YOUR business. Like any other business that starts up, the OWNER has to BUILD it. Money, associates and customers don’t just appear simply becoause you have a website, products and an opportunity.  

A little background about me….I am married with three beautiful children and one on the way (December 2018). Several months back, my husband and I fell into some hard times financially (who hasn’t??) and it just snowballed from there. It’s not like we did anything different or wrong -we both work full time and bust our humps. Life just gets in the way unexpectedly sometimes….and that’s just what happened to us. My husband picked up side jobs and I also wanted to contribute but really needed something where I can do from home. My kids are not with me 40hrs a week already, I’m not leaving them anymore than absolutely necessary! I also wanted to do something that I enjoyed. I love to help people. It gives me a sense of completion and warmth knowing that I have made a difference in some one’s life, not matter how big or small. So this is where my research began. Helping people and helping my family.

(This is where I tell you about my company but PLEASE READ ON. I’m not asking you to purchase, sign up or any of that. I’m sharing what worked -and continues to work- in aiding me and my family make ADDITIONAL income.)

I remembered all the buzz and hype I’ve been seeing about CBD Oil. I looked into it further. A product that is all natural, helps with many ailments from anxiety to pain, NO SIDE EFFECTS, organically grown and manufactured in the USA – this seems like something I could honestly stand behind and promote. This is where I looked for the business “catch” in the companies offering CBD oil. **There usually always seems to be a catch OR investment OR a “free trial” claim, yet you need to provide your credit card, etc. A friend of mine does MLM and I remember looking into her company. I chose not to do it due to the initial startup fee, and the fact that in order to get paid commission on things I sold, I would have to personally buy so much every month. If I like a product, I have no problem using it and always having it on hand, however, I do not like the fact of having to purchase X amount of dollars every month just so I can get paid. Keep in mind, I didn’t have the extra income just to blindly jump into the unknown!**

I spent hours reading about all the different companies offering CBD oil, the benefits, the testimonials, etc. I came across CTFO’s products, and was intrigued. I liked their presentation, their products AND their benefit. Unlike any other MLM opportunities, they stand behind their product AND their business opportunity. There is NO startup fee, NO minimum purchase from you in order to receive your commission. Thinking it was like all the other so called “free” opportunities, I figured what the heck? I’ll attempt to sign up and then opt out when I get to the point of having to enter my credit card. It never got to that point. Shockingly, it really is a completely free startup. As soon as I registered, I received an email with my website link, my business opportunity website link and my back office link. Separately, I received a welcome email from my Sponsor. All the basic tools you need are provided free of charge in the tools/marketing section of your back office. Personally, I have spent hours reading everything provided in the Library and FAQ sections. If I was going to be even the least bit successful, I had to start somewhere! Knowledge is power. The only “fee” involved is voluntary and it is to purchase business cards, banners, brochures, etc. I have not yet gotten to the point where I feel I need them to benefit me. Everything I have done so far has not cost me a penny in order to make money. I will admit, I have made purchases because I do want to use products I am representing so I can give an honest review/opinion. Yes, I have come across a couple I don’t care for, but that’s personal preference.   

I am now looking into how to expand further. I have built my business through family and friends. I have built my business through word of mouth. I have built my business using social media. Seeing it actually work, makes me want more. It’s nice when you find a solid product that fits a need so many people have. It makes you feel good. It also feels good to offer others an opportunity to create extra income with no financial risk. If it works out –GREAT! If it isn’t for you (and some people realize that it’s not), you aren’t out any money. It’s a win-win. If you are looking into MLM, whether it’s CBD oil or something else, do the research on the company you are representing. Look for a company that doesn’t force you into spending your own money upfront in order to make money. I feel companies who are truly genuine and believe in their product are the way to go. They are the companies whose products sell themselves. Distributor purchases should be optional; after all they are giving you the opportunity to run YOUR OWN BUSINESS. How you run that business should be entirely up to you!  

Like I stated above, I make a decent side/additional income. It works for me. I went into this venture blind, scared and financially struggling. At the end of the day, I help people find relief by providing them the means of a natural product all while helping contribute to my family’s needs. Am I rich? Heck no, not by any means! I just happened to find CTFO at the right time and have the right mindset. It has aided in getting us back on our feet and for that I am grateful.
