The Challenge We Face

Have you ever asked yourself why others are recruiting with ease right into the very same program you are struggling to get people to take a look at, let alone join you?

I once took a colleague to a business meeting, hopping he would join the business afterwards. I have been talking to him for a while about the opportunity. He finally chose to come with me-- I suppose to get me off his back.

It was the period before webinars became the preferred method of business meetings, making face to face presentations, kinda obsolete.

I even picked him up in my car on my way to the meeting - just to make sure he attends.

The speakers were great. Everyone was supper pumped up!

I couldn’t wait to find out what my buddy thought of business now. Just before we got to the auto, he dropped the bomb!

"What do you think," I asked.

"Pretty good," he replied.

"Shall we get the paperwork out of the way now?" I pressed forward with my objective.

"Oh, I am already a member," he said.

" What?" I yelled!

"A guy I met in the bathroom gave me ₤2000.00 to join him! He also paid the ₤2500.00 required to register me at the manager’s level with products on his card! I am sorry, but I need the money," he declared!

"You are joking, right?" I feared the worst!

"No, I am not. I've got the cash right here, as well as my copy of the documents to prove it," he announced with no shame!

For a total stranger to invest a total of ₤4,500.00 to poach my prospect from right under my nose in that fashion is disgraceful, if you ask me. This is how low certain individuals, with more money and no morals, are prepared to go to steal one signup from the original sponsor!

The compensation plan was that lucrative and attracted some sharks!

Incredible.

That is just one extreme case of the jungle warfare that exist in recruiting in our market!

I drove "the colleague" back to where I picked him up in silence-- feeling extremely upset and depressed. It was one of the most uncomfortable moments in my life.

Such unpleasant behavior in the industry is becoming even more common but hard to detect these days!

That is why you cannot afford just to aim you beat everybody to the count and give out your referral link, to a complete stranger, and hope they end up in your team!
