Post on Craigslist See Results

They said Craigslist was dead. Many trainers will try to push you toward social media --- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. They say go where you can see the people and the people can readily interface with you. Although I’m told that Facebook has a billion subscribers, I still believe that there is still a lot of life in using Craigslist.

Gone are the days where you could post on Craigslist and not get dinged for doing multiple posts in multiple times and multiple section. These days when you post on Craigslist you need a separate phone number for each email account. I know some people have gotten around this by using VPN and other ways to get multiple IP addresses. But I found that when I post on Craigslist that if my ad is substantial then it doesn't matter if I do multiple posts.  

I like to post 3 times a day at 8 a.m., noon, and then around 6 p.m. You can still do this on Craigslist. I post no more than 3-5 times per day. This prevents ghosting --- when your ad appears to be posted but, you can’t see it when you go out on Craigslist to find it. Posting in this way allows others to see your post frequently. For some reason, most workers take breaks around 9 a.m. and most people eat their lunch around noon and then around 3 p.m. people are starting to wind down and are ready to take a break. So, if you are looking to promote new business opportunities this is a great time to post because most tech savvy Americans are usually on their phones during break. This way you can get your information out to those who can and are willing to take charge of your life.

If you are looking to find employees for your business Craigslist is great place to find job seekers. I was able to find ten highly qualified applicants in less than a day. Many more responded as the week went by. This was done by posting in the gigs section where no fee is charged for posting. It's also great if you have a business opportunity that you want to sell. My advice is just be honest in your postings and you will get very targeted local leads. This is a very cheap lead source where you are not expending much energy. Once your ads are up and running the only thing that you will need to do is to repost once they expire. That;s as simple as clicking a button.
