Two concepts EVERY COMPANY NEEDS: .... VPA ... and .... MISSION STATEMENT !!!

  Three programs come into play here: ( www.LostWeightMadeMoney.com ) & ( www.GetNewBizLeads.com ) when speaking of OUR companies and the dual concepts of  VPA -- VISION / PLAN / ACTION.... and MISSION STATEMENT.  ( See the first two programs, above )

   Today, we are writing about the concept, VPA - VISION, PLAN, ACTION.   We will also touch upon the second concept in certain parts of this article, to provide continuity of thought and topic, but will deal with the bulk of the importance of that concept, in our next posting, that being -- wait for it..... MISSION STATEMENT !

   Let me begin by making one thing perfectly clear.  I am NOT an "egg head" and sometimes, not too bright !

   The vast majority of my FRIENDS and most of my acquaintances ( business or otherwise ) KNOW this !

   MOST of those in either of these two groups - friends, or acquaintances, would readily verify this for you !

 So.....it amazes me, as I pause to think about things, that my second posting here, my second article written, should be something so profoundly sounding like " egg-headedness " !   However, I also know, drawing upon both what i have studied, AND what I have learned from individuals far smarter than i, as well as my first hand experience,  that VPA, the concept of ( VISION / PLAN / and ACTION )  together with a company  MISSION STATEMENT, are vital to the proper workings of a project or company !   They directly impact the direction, the growth, and ultimately, the SUCCESS,  of any project or company !   Again, today, we will focus on the first concept, VPA ( VISION / PLAN / ACTION )

    Our company, and the business in which we work and which we promote, deal with three main areas:  

   --- ( Weight Loss --- and Physical Energy and Health Enhancement )

   --- ( Business Leads )

   ---  ( Real Estate and Real Estate Investments )  

   With three such diverse areas of involvement, one needs.... in fact... cannot function without, both VPA and a MISSION STATEMENT !    

   " Why is that ? " -- one might ask !   Well, to simplify things, VPA, particularly VISION is the " WHY " for a company.... and the MISSION STATEMENT, is the " HOW " !    Without a WHY and a HOW.... one's efforts in a business enterprise, will likely resemble a pin ball in a pin ball game !   With deference to the WHO, and TOMMY ( sixties reference, guys ) to start off a pin ball game, a shiny round metal or plastic ball is shot out of a side tube, rapidly propelled to the top of the pin ball machine, and with a lot of energy and speed !  However, without a "Why" and a "How"....that pin ball begins bouncing around from one bumper to another, and begins slowing down just as rapidly as it sped out of the side shoot.  It continues bouncing sideways, or up, or down, or sideways again, from one bumper to another, to yet another, with little to no direction, except, eventually, and WITHOUT EXCEPTION.... ALWAYS downward !  At the end, it finally disappears down the unforgiving black hole at the bottom of the game.  No direction, and very little accomplishment !  Eventually, it is... GAME  OVER !

 Anyone who has been an entrepreneur, even for a brief period of time, will have heard, OFTEN.... " You need to know your ' WHY ' !  This is so very, VERY true !   One has to have a " WHY " for what one is doing !  That "WHY" ( or VISION ) is your MOTIVATION for wanting to do something ?  It is what DRIVES you ?   It is, ALSO EQUALLY  IMPORTANT, it can be what, during down or difficult times, what SUSTAINS YOU !

When i first heard that on always needed to know one's " WHY " ( ie:  needed to have a VISION ).... being a "street kid" from Jersey as I was growing up, being almost always on the go, and even more frequently, ALWAYS  ASKING  "WHY" ? ---- I  GOT  THE  CONCEPT  OF  VISION ....of  " WHY " !    The fact that i was always, as a kid, asking " WHY " .... used to piss off  ( apologies up front to anyone that may have offended.... but hey...i DID explain...I AM ... from JERSEY ! )  most adults and authority figures as I grew up.  Most wanted to just have me do as I was told.  But when I was told something... frequently my near-immediate response was the one-word question.... " Why ? "   What came of that, was the very clear knowledge, that knowing WHY was pretty damn important, for just about any endeavor undertaken.   Otherwise, without that " WHY " it is all too easy to get side-tracked, to get distracted, and eventually led astray,  by the next great sounding offer or project which comes within our sight !  Without the VISION -- when things at times get really difficult, we become like so many of those other poor souls, who, when hitting the first wall they encounter, without having their "WHY", their VISION, propelling them onward, simply throw up their hands, tell themselves, " this is way too hard " ....and walk away from that which they were trying to accomplish !   Sooooo many people " WANT " the prize !   So few.... ( as a whole ) are willing to sacrifice and bear being uncomfortable... for that desired prize.  So often.... that is due, to failing to have their VISION....their " WHY " !

   And yet....even then, that is not enough.   The vision, the why, is just the first part of the VPA triad !  Second down the line....the P -- is a plan !   Without a plan, a vision remains but a mere dream.  Again, it is a " WANT " only.  The P....the PLAN ...in VPA.... is the roadmap.  It is...." OK...today I am here.  Tomorrow I want to be THERE.   How do I get there ?  Oh... THIS  IS  HOW  I GET THERE ! "    

   Carefully constructed ( and realizing, of course, that there may always be detours / LIKELY ... WILL be detours, along the way ) the plan.... shows us how to get from where we are, to where we want to be!

  The plan, in order to work.... must make sense!  It must be able to be achieved.  It need NOT, be something that everyone else thinks can be achieved.  In fact, many who sit on the sidelines, are more than happy to cast doubt and attempt to throw cold water upon someone else's plan.  They do this, sometimes out of concern for the individual... but more often than not, because, in their own minds, they can never see themselves venturing on such a journey.  So....if they cannot do it.....then...it must not be able to be done !  

   And lastly, because one will almost always run into road blocks, and on the journey, encounter and be forced into taking detours, it is imperative that a plan, while solid, must never be too rigid that it cannot be tweaked, cannot be modified or changed, if necessary !   Life is about change, about detours, and about running into road blocks.  Life is also dealing with, and overcoming same !!!

    Lastly, we have " A " --  the final leg of our tripod -- VPA.   VISION ( discussed ).  PLAN ( laid out ).  A !!! ???

   While it is great to have a VISION, and even better, to possess a PLAN and direction for accomplishing that Vision.... neither will amount to anything more than an idea, or a dream, without the third component of VPA. 

I can have all the VISION in the world.  And, I can, for hours, and days even,  defend the plan I have laid out with tenacity and vigo, to the very last nay-sayer who comes to cast doubt upon my plan(s) for achieving that VISION.   But without the last component, the " A " of VPA -- it is all a waste of time if I am looking to accomplish anything.   Vision, and Plan, lead to nothing... without  ACTION !   Unless I commit to, and then follow up WITH...  ACTION .... NOTHING  CHANGES.... NOTHING IS MOVED....!   The difference, between those who ACCOMPLISH... those who DO --- IS  >>>>>  DOING !   It is.... ACTION !    Will it always lead to success ?  Hardly !   There are no guarantees for success in life.   However, what IS guaranteed....is that without the " A " in VPA, without the taking of ACTION -- nothing or nearly nothing... CHANGES.
