My name is Rachel Baron, I am a Director with Beautycounter.  Our mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone.  Sound interesting to you?  Well let me tell you WHY I decided Beautycounter was the right fit for me, and maybe, just MAYBE you might feel the same way.

I am a professional freelance makeup artist.  I've worked with celebrities for their Red Carpet arrivals and appearances, Fashion magazines such as InStyle, Glamour, and Elle.  I specialize in clean skin, healthy glowing skin and until recently, never really found 1 line that worked for all of my special needs.  You see, as a makeup artist, there is a lot of chemistry behind skin.  A brand that works for 1 person, just doesn't work for another. Why, you may ask? Because the compounds and chemical makeup of the physical products may have ingredients that react or cause reactions on peoples skin, which what they currently use for their skincare regimen.

Behold Beautycounter, a company that a colleague of mine introduced to me.  One that focus' on safer, cleaner skincare, personal care products, and makeup.  With my ever climbing VIP clientele consistently asking for cleaner beauty products, not just your typical high end Chanel, Tom Ford, or Marc Jacobs Beauty, I began doing my research and decided Beautycounter was the highest performing product out there, without sacrificing safety for the clients health and well being.

Today, pretty much ANYTHING can be formulated and bottled with ZERO regulation on it! In fact, there hasn't been any FDA regulations on the personal care industry since 1938!!!  This fact alone got me to join, as I believed, and still believe we need safer out there.  We need voices to be heard, and more of them.  I joined this company not only because of the amazing line it offers, but because of the mission at hand.  We have coined a "Never List" of over 1500 harmful and toxic ingredients, not only for us as people, but for our environment too!
