We lived in an apartment for 7 years before we decided to buy our first home. It was a happy and exciting moment with a little challenge on our first mortgage. I started a new job right after we moved in to our new house. It is scary to think but I manage to keep my job until now. We dreamed of owning a house. We know that is a big responsibility on our part because we have to have enough income for our mortgage payments, insurances, car payments, credit card payments, personal expenses, and emergency expenses.

I worked in a medical device company and I got a decent salary and so as my husband, he work as a Quality Inspector in a company for 14 years until the company closed its operation. So then it became a challenge for us. I do the budgeting and before that, we can survive month after month. For my husband to look and start another job is a very tough time for us. You know, when you get used to the work and the salary then suddenly one day you were left hanging and looking somewhere else where you can start all over again from the beginning.
