A) Giracoin was launched in Oct 2016 and being new is innovative :-
1) It is a hybrid system with ' atomic solution '. If there is a 51% takeover or hack the system automatically goes decentralized. The initial centralization was to meet regulatory requirements plus propagation and usability of the coin in an organized way.
2) The system is being developed into smart contracts besides girabuy, giraexchange, etc. This is an advantage as other companies can tie up into a bigger enterprise.
3) The blockchain is public on the Blockexplorer and the company is registered / licensed by the authorities. A cryptocurrency is credible when it's blockchain is transparent and open to scrutiny by tech experts.
