It's Been a Uphill Battle

I'm new to mlm and online marketing. I was always interested in it so I gave it a try. I think what frustrates me the most is that I get the concept of how things work and how many others are making a great living by selling products and services online. However my struggles come in the form of not knowing how to actually get leads and visitors to the sites Im trying to promote. I never been one to follow in the social media platforms so I dont have a lot of followers when it comes to that. I also had a hard time trying to sell products to my friends and family, so that method hasn't worked either. I've tried to find communities with like-minded people but that's been a struggle as well. Other people make it seem so simple and easy but when I try to incorparate what they are saying and doing it never seems to work out for me that way. I'm far from giving up but to say the least, it can be frustrating when it feels like I'm running in circles. I seek to find mentors or professionals that have been successful but they are hard to come by or cost to much. I enjoy helping others so it was a no brainer to me to promote and advertise products and services others are in need of or searching for. Plus with the internet taking over the world I figured that this is where I need to be. I love learning and I have the passion and work effort to succeed but the lack of clear guidance has been the number one problem that henders me. I've look at countless webinars and they always have good information however the presenters always act as if everyone that's at the webinar are all seasoned vets who know exactly what they are talking about and how to do the task that they are talking about. When Im trying to retain new information I need the presenter to be precise and clear. I also need to be able to duplicate the procedure in a step by step manner so I can fully grasp the concepts that are being presented. People say things like the money is in the list, but don't actually give you the proper steps to gaining a list. Or they say that the money is in the follow up but if you haven't built up a list of prospects how can you follow up with anyone. I don't mine taking things one step at a time from the very beginning if the steps can be taught right. I believe all I need is some support and the proper guidance to be successful and until that happens I believe I just might continue to struggle.
