You are going to Maui, you are staying in a luxury hotel, here is what you do.

You slip a card under every door in the hotel. You go to a posh restaurant and instead of leaving a tip, you give every staff member a card. They will think you are from the Rich and Famous. You talk to the manager of the restaurant and tell him how he could give the cards out to his customers as a THANK YOU. You also give one to a cabby and tell him how to increase his business by him giving the cards on which he has put his info on the back to his customers. You give every hotel staff member a card and introduce the manager to the concept of giving the cards to guests when they register and how when they are used he gets paid.

Oh by the way the cards cost you less than 25 cents each.

Every time a card is used you get paid 50% of the amount used. Now out of all the cards you pass out 50% are used, you only have to pass out approx. 500 – 1000 cards to pay for your trip. Trust me it doesn’t take long to pass out that many cards on a trip. What is great is out of that many cards between 10 – 25% will sign up and/or recommend it to friends and again you get paid. The cab driver thought it was such a great way to get referrals he signed, told his buddies and a couple of them signed, the restaurant manager saw the advantage and he signed as did a couple of his staff, oh yes there was the hotel manager and a couple of the hotel staff members. You also get to write off the trip as a business expense as a working vacation.

How many times a year do you think you can take your mom and/or family on a holiday if that is how you pay for it? There is no better way to do something than when it is free unless you are giving something to someone else while you do it.

To me saying THANK YOU is one of the simplest yet most forgotten way to appreciate someone.
