Did you know today is Earth Day? This year’s focus is on reducing plastic in our oceans, something which is very close to the heart of Neal’s Yard Remedies.
Our products have never contained microbeads, instead we use natural alternatives such as ground organic rice powder, sea salt, ground argan shell and wild rose seed powder. These natural exfoliants are found in our scrubs and polishes.
Where it is suitable for the product, we use glass bottles and jars. Our plastic shampoo and body wash bottles are 100% recylcled plastic.
We are ethical pioneers, and are celebrating 10 years of being carbon neutral.
Our Eco Factory in Dorset (where our products are produced) uses solar panels to produce electricity.
We have the Worlds largest collection of Soil Association approved health and beauty products, and use the precautionary principle, so you won’t find anything in our products which could cause you, or the plant harm.
And of course our products, and the ingredients used to make them have never been tested on animals.
