Understanding Plastic Neutrality and Plastic Negativity
We are witnessing a growing trend among corporations and individuals striving for Plastic Neutrality and even aiming to become Plastic Negative. To clarify these concepts:
- Plastic Neutrality: For every kilogram of plastic waste generated by an entity, an equivalent amount of plastic waste is recovered from the environment for proper processing, such as recycling or repurposing.
- Plastic Negativity: Extending beyond neutrality, this approach involves recovering **more plastic waste** from the environment than is produced by the entity, creating a **net positive impact**.
Steps Toward Individual Plastic Neutrality
Research shows that an average individual generates approximately 50 kg of plastic waste annually. To achieve Plastic Neutrality, one would need to retire 10 CSR Plastic Credits per kg, totaling 500 CSR Plastic Credits per year. Amplivo offers flexible options to accommodate various commitments:
10-Year Plastic Neutrality → 5,000 CSR Plastic Credits
50-Year Plastic Neutrality → 25,000 CSR Plastic Credits
Lifetime (100-Year) Plastic Neutrality → 50,000 CSR Plastic Credits
Family of Four Lifetime Neutrality → 200,000 CSR Plastic Credits
These options empower individuals and families to contribute meaningfully to environmental preservation.
Corporate Commitment to Plastic Neutrality
Corporations are encouraged to assess their plastic usage across various operations. For example, a company using 1,000,000 plastic bottles annually, each weighing 20 grams (0.02 kg), would consume 20,000 kg of plastic per year. To achieve Plastic Neutrality for this usage:
- Plastic Used: 20,000 kg
- CSR Plastic Credits Required: 200,000 CSR Plastic Credits annually
By retiring the appropriate number of CSR Plastic Credits, corporations can ensure their products are Plastic Neutrally Packaged, aligning with global sustainability goals.
Rising Demand for Plastic Credits
The global demand for plastic credits is on the rise, with CSR Plastic Credit gaining prominence. The current general market price for plastic credits ranges between 0.5 to 1.0 USD per kilogram (5 to 10 euro cents per CSR Plastic Credit). Due to limited CSR Plastic Credits on public exchanges, their value and exclusivity continue to increase.

Now as for me I join this platform because i see a good thing happening here and i want to help clean up our planet in any small way i can when a pebble starts rolling down hill it can and will become a boulder, and this is in its pebble stage but i see it growing exponetionally in a short time.
Now i put my first $60 into this and taking accountability for the plastics that i personally use ... ... now i am asking anyone reading this to step up and take responsibility for the plastics we use everyday, and with this company you have a chance to not only help clean up some of the plastic pollution that we all contribute to but also make some money doing it.
