Why I joined Avon

I joined Avon On January 26, 2017. I was giving up on life, I felt like there was nothing more to live for. In November 2015, my husband and myself was in a major vehicle accident where someone ran a stop sign and we hit them. I lost my peripheral vision in both eyes, I live in constant pain everyday most of the doctors have MMI. I have to always depend on someone else to drive me and take me places and before the accident I worked as a Correctional Officer for the State of Florida for almost 20 years with a job of care, custody and control of inmates, a job I loved and had to give up because of one accident. The day before I signed up we were going through some of my mom’s belongings and I opened up one of the boxes at which time I told my husband “I can’t go through this box yet” and I closed it back up. It was a collection of my mom’s AVON Decanter’s (a lot of them still have some of the perfumes or colognes in them). That night my mom came to me and woke me from my sleep and I asked her what she was doing and “she told me you are going to get off of your butt and you are going to sale AVON and you will succeed, your not coming to see me yet, I love you but Gods is not ready for you”. I told her that AVON wasn’t even around and she said yes it is, and told me that she loved me and would see in another day. At that time which was 2:15 am I started googling AVON, the company and products and by 6:00am I was signed up to sale.

My goal is to reach president’s club and above. I am wanting to open my own store, I want to have a little Holiday Shop where my customers will be able to come in and shop year around for the holidays and it will be themed for the holidays.
