I Love Residual Income!

Ever wish that you could get paid over and over for the work that you do?  I was in the real estate and mortgage business for 31 years and yes, I made a good living in both of those industries.  I worked hard and spent a lot of time learning about each of those industries so that I would be very knowledgeable and be able to provide an excellent service to my clients ad expecting to get a lot of referrals and repeat business.  Guess what ---- it worked!  After my first four years, at least 65% of my business was coming from referrals and as time went on, I started getting repeat business from most of my past clients.  So why did I change?  Well, have you ever been through burnout?  I did several times and the last time, even though I knew what was happening and took time to get my mental attitude corrected, it just did not work!  I was totally exhausted and because in the real estate and mortgage business, we only got paid when we closed a transaction,  my income level fell like a rock.  Looking back now, I sometimes wonder what it would be like IF I continued to get just a little each month from all of the closed transaction the I had over the years ( residual income ).  You see, at the time that I was working so hard, I really was not aware of the concept of getting paid up front and if I did good business I could continue to get just a little each month for the work that I had done.  Funny thing, I was approached a few times by people about these amazing income producing opportunities but I had this mindset that they were all " pyramid schemes " and so, I was totally turned off until after my last burnout!  A person that I worked with in the mortgage business called my about a business that I needed to take a look at and I only did it to show him some professional courtesy but when he told me about the service, it was something that my wife and I had been using since 1980.  When he showed me the business model, I was dum-founded that I could actually get paid for doing what I had already been doing and that was telling friends and people about this service that gave me access to a quality law firm to get question answered, documents reviewed, a will and much more.  Needles to say, I " signed up " to be an associate and after 10 years, I still love what I do and I have not had any burnout issues at all.  That is not to say that I have not experienced bad days and occasionally bad months but because I get residual income from previous business, my finances have not suffered the way they did when I was in real estate and mortgage business.  Legal Shield is not a good fit for everyone but for those who see the benefits, it can offer an amazing business opportunity for those who are looking for a company that is well established, been in business since 1972, and are really interested in building a solid business.
