Duty Calls...

Having children at home can be a double-edged-sword. It not only affects your social life, your business life and your home life, but now you must make decisions that are difficult. You have to choose whether you will go back to work and leave someone else in charge of watching your little ones, or staying home with them.

You are now forced to sit down and weigh the advantages and disadvantages. It will not be easy to come to the right decision. No matter what you choose, you will feel guilty, it comes with being a Mother. Let's examine some of the issues you will face for each choice you make.

Why Would You Want to Stay Home?

For obvious reasons, you would rather be the one who is with your children daily, bonding with them and sharing in their growth. After all, there is no one who will care for them as you the Mother, are capable of doing.

You will also save on all those care-giving costs, not to mention the cost of traveling, clothing and supplies needed in your every day job. You will be able to be there when your children are sick, when they are unhappy, and when they need comforting. A Mother's love is the greatest antidote for many ailments. You will be able to assure they are well fed , well dressed, and you will not have to worry that they are being mistreated in any number of ways.

Sharing in your child's health and well-being come first, at any cost. So, at this point, staying home is the correct answer, at least in your mind, at this time. Being almost sure, you now have to examine the alternative.

What Will Happen if I DON'T go Back to Work?

So, you enter into this question with a negative attitude, since you have already come to the conclusion that staying home would far out-way the consequences of leaving the kids to go back to work. Is there any reason on earth why you should even list the disadvantages?  Well, you tell yourself you must consider all avenues, so you get to work on this list, starting off with the many questions that pop up in your mind.

Questions such as how will not working affect my life and those in my family? Will we be able to financially live the life we are accustomed to? Will the bills get paid and on time? What will we have to give up? Will I be satisfied only being with youngsters and missing out on adult conversations? These are some of the things I must consider. Now, I am very confused. Instead of helping me make the right decision, this has only succeeded in complicating matters.

What is the Most Rational Answer?

We live in a different world today. There is so much technology that one's ability to overcome any indecision  is as simple as taking advantage of what is available. You can basically have your cake and eat it too (I think that is the phrase).

Why not stay home and work online to earn that extra income needed? After all you will not have to earn as much are you did when you worked, since you have now eliminated those extra costs of leaving your home. Also, as far as not having any adult conversation, there are cell phones, texting, social media, and many services that you can take advantage of that will meet all your need foe adult stimulation.

The only problem you face now, is to find the best fitting business opportunity online, as there are literally thousands of them to choose from. It will take some time to weed out the ones that are just hype and those that are scams, but you time will be well invested when you reach the one that fits your needs.
