Be Prepared For Work Before Working Your Network Marketing Business
In thinking about it, being prepared for work is the most import thing you do every single day. It does not matter if you are a lawyer, doctor, construction worker, window washer, store clerk or a network marketer. This is a universal truth.
I can remember, as a young man, showing up to work in not the greatest condition. After a night of partying with friends, I would sometimes go to my warehouse job in rough shape. I can tell you this, I was not prepared and was not a very good employee on these days.
Other more subtle things can affect performance. Thinking about a fight you had with a friend or family member, an argument with one of your children and even a leaky basement at home can be enough to knock you off the tracks of good performance.
In Network Marketing, when you are prospecting ( which you should be doing the most of when you first start), if you are fully prepared and ready your results will increase five fold at the very least. If you are not fully prepared, I suggest you spend time getting prepared before starting.
In my business, I will spend blocks of two hours calling and contacting potential partners. I know what I have to do and more importantly I know what to expect. I have a quick preparation as follows. First I meditate on the fact that everyone I will be talking to is a good person and no matter what they say to me does not change that fact. Second, I visualize good and promising conversations I am having with my prospects. Third, I run through my gratitude list. Finally, a few minutes of positive affirmations. This whole process takes about 10-15 minutes.
I can tell you that by ding this or something like this, you will not only have better results you will begin to enjoy what you are doing! Isn't that the way it is supposed to be?
Before I close this article, I would be remiss to not mention the book "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. This book will change your life regardless of what you do. This book has drawn a roadmap to a principle the world's most successful people have followed something similar to since the beginning of recorded history and I assume, before that.
You can get an idea about this book is about by simply looking at the title. If you want to be a top performer, read this book.
