1. How it all began FOR ME:

At home, taking care of kids, and BORED! So I sign up for Avon simply to sell to family and buy products at discount. ( I hate GOING shopping). But then something AMAZING, almost MAGICAL happened. I went grocery shopping (yes well THAT has to be done) and gave an Avon brochure to the lady behind the counter (I had received too many brochures and didn't know what to do with them). She saw the book sticking out my bag and asked to see it. I said she can keep it. The NEXT day I get a call and a R3000 order. Yes, you read that right. R3000 worth of sales. That lady showed ALL her colleagues at Spar and the managers the book!! That was the beginning of something BIG! I made Sales of R15 000 in my second month. Why? How? I simply repeated what I had done. I left books EVERYWHERE I went. I learnt very quickly that Avon: 

1. Is a well known and trusted brand that ladies seem to love 

2. The brochures sell FOR you, 

3. When you give the customers their orders they treat you like you are Father Christmas bearing gifts!! In fact you get called an endearing new name: 'the Avon Lady'!

After a year of meeting lovely people, receiving boxes of orders I got to open and explore (I STILL get excited when my box arrives!), and making 30% commission (amazing right?), I decided to start recruiting. I have been recruiting for a little while and so far it's great fun! The bonuses are GREAT and I enjoy MOTIVATING a team. Avon is such a well established brand and great quality product that it's so rewarding working with them. I am STILL at home, taking care of kids, but DEFINATELY not bored!!
