Hello! My name is Mandy and I am a veteran homeschooler, and single mom to my 12 year old son with special needs. I was first introduced to Usborne Books over 4 years ago when I first started homeschooling. I absolutely love how any different types of educational books they have, and use them in my own home daily. My son tends to get distracted very easily and Usborne Books have so many colorful, bright pictures that it helps keep my sons attention longer. He also loves using the Wipe-Clean books over writing with pen and paper. They have made a huge difference in his writing. He practices without being asked!!! Reading just 20 minutes a night with your child can make such a huge difference in their lives. It increases vocabulary, encourages imagination, improves reading comprehension, and brings you closer together as a family (what I like to call cuddle time). I once heard if you find something you love, you'll never have to work a day again in you life. Now I get to help spreading a life long love for literacy to families, schools, and libraries, and I absolutely love it! And as a bonus my sons book shelves are overfilled with so many amazing books.
