New career after 32 years of nursing due to Covid-19 pandemic

I am a Registered Nurse who is a kidney transplant recipient so when the global pandemic hit my state, I was unable to work as a frontline nurse due to my immunocompromised state. I had recently completed my Masters degree in Nursing and was waiting to take the state boards. Although my state was one of the latter states to be hit by the coronavirus, we were hit very hard. The infection rate was further precipitated by the noncompliance of many people in the community. I had orders from my doctor to self-quarantine as much as possible; I should avoid all hospitals and clinics unless absolutely an emergency situation for the next 2 months. I was only working a less than part time job which was 24-32 hours every two weeks. I am a psychiatric nurse and I worked in a unit that was mostly adults. Some of them were homeless and they were substance abusers so my risk was increased due to that factor alone. This job was just to pay a few bills while I was completing my degree. After I could no longer work it, I applied for unemployment benefits. Unfortunately, there were millions of claims to be filed and as of today, I still have not received notification of approval for the benefits. I applied April 6! I lacked financial support from my friends and family and the wait for unemployment benefits was excruciating. This time afforded me the opportunity to look for remote/work from home opportunities in my field but I was unable to find a job. There were many ads for remote jobs for nurses but the response was so overwhelming that the employers would send notification that they were reviewing applications or that I didn't meet the criteria they were looking for. This was very disturbing to me as I had previously worked in a telephonic case management position for a major insurance company up until this past September when I had to resign. I had to complete 600 hours of nursing hours which had me working 24-32 hours weekly. I had no time left in my schedule to work a 40 hour per week job. My friend introduced me to the financial industry and although it was out of my niche, it was exciting. This is a 100% debt free company based in the United States.
