ROI or Return on Investment
How many understand ROI or return on investment? This means that we need to make every portion of our investment pay so that means every dollar must count and also our time as well. Take a look at the number hours you spend on your business and the return you are getting what does it look like 1%, 10% or would you say it is a negative number and sometimes it is of greater negative proportion than it should be.
What can you do about it? The first thing to do is look at what you are doing and how you are doing it. You may be able to rearrange the way you are doing things so that you can maximize the effort you are putting in, for example if you are spending a lot of time on facebook is it accomplishing anything or is it just spending time?
Look at how much time you spend answering useless emails that gain you nothing, you may need to set yourself a time each day to look at emails and that is the only time you do it.
How much time to do you spend on placing ads and what is your rate of return of those ads.
When we start our business especially when it comes to advertising as it is the easiest area to over spend in any part of our businesses.
As a coach, I cannot tell you what you should be doing nor should or would I tell you how to do but what I can do is help you set goals and help you visualize what it is that you want and how the best way you feel it would be to accomplish that.
A GOOD coach does not tell rather they guide you to help you get to where you want to be.
We set out a plan and I help you to navigate the hurdles along the way and trust me there are going to be many some big and some small but they are all manageable.
People who are looking for business partners must be willing to mentor those they bring into their business but how can you mentor someone when you don’t know how to as you have never been mentored yourself.
Personal growth is as much a part of building a business as signing up partners. If you are not willing to grow personally so you can help your team grow then you have a problem.
I am going to suggest several things to do for personal growth and these are things I have learned from some of the top people in the personal growth industry such as Bob Proctor, Earl Nightengale, Tony Robbins, Eric Worre to name a few.
READ, read, read as many books on these people as you can or watch videos.
ASSOCIATE with as many successful people as you can. In many towns and cities the Chamber of Commerce hold breakfast meeting where successful business people get together to network. These meetings are a great place to go to LISTEN to what they are doing and how they are doing it.
BUDGET, yes budget not just your money but your time. Set aside so much time in a day to do a task and stick with it for example 1 hour to read and reply to emails, 1 hour to place ads, 4 hours a day to prepare and eat meals, 1 hour for reading or watching videos for personal growth etc. it may take some time to get into the groove but you will find you will waste less time and feel better about your business in the end.
Reach out to people you see are successful and ask them what they are doing and how they are reaching their goals.
When I was taking my coaching course the one and most important factor was the calls from my coach/mentor. They meant so much to me as they kept me on track. They encouragement I got from Melissa was wonderful.
But that is what a great mentor/coach does is encourages you, takes away the fears and stress failure and shows you how successful you CAN be and what success would mean to you.
If anyone would like to reach out to me about their business feel free to do so. I would be happy to help anyone who wants to take their business to the next level.
