    Since 2000 Identity Theft has been the fastest growing white collar crime in America.  Join me at a virtual zoom where I will share the 8 most common types of identity theft that most Americans are not aware of and learn how to protect yourself, your family and your assets.  For example, a member who had been giving plasma to a blood bank went into the office and was told she could no longer give blood.  When she asked why?  She was told that her medical file indicated that she had hepatitis C.  She left the blood bank and called her doctor and asked why he had never told her that she had hepatitis C and he asked her who told you you had it?  She explained to him what had happened and the doctor mailed a letter to the blood bank explaining how long he had been her doctor and that she did not have hepatitis C.  The blood bank stated that since the disease was listed in her medical file due to Hippa Law they could no longer accept her blood?  What's in your medical file?  Another example, A member walked into a large Target and walked around, did her shopping and enjoyed her experience.  Before leaving the store she visited the Customer Service department and shared that she had enjoyed her experience, loved the clean aisles and the attention provided by the staff.  She then inquired about working at the store, the young man began taking her information and when he got to her social security number stop and said, Lady you are already working here!  An employee had been working under her social security number for two years and of course that employee had never paid income taxes.  She had been a victim of social security identity theft.  Are you?  What about when a criminal is stopped by the police and gives your name?  The police have no way of knowing that a fake name has been given until the fingerprints come back.  And guess what, they still add your name as an alias for the criminal.  The criminal has just put you in the criminal system and you are not aware of it nor can you dispute it?  Until you, the legal binding American is stopped by the police for a routine stop only to find out that there is a warrant out for you and now you are taken to jail.  What are you going to say, "It wasn't me!" but isn't that what all criminals say when caught?  Now you find yourself locked up with charges that you did not incur with a court date to return back to court with an attorney.  Frustrated, time-consuming and broke.  Register today to learn the facts about identity theft.  The information may help you a family member or a friend.
