I started this opportunity at a difficult time in my life recently, and have not regretted this decision once! It's taught me self discipline, positive outlooks on things, motivation, and that I can be driven to achieve what ever I may put my mind to! I am able to show my children, a great example of leadership, kindness, and the ability to help others! Prior to joining this company, I was an assistant Property Manager for a tax credit apartment complex community. Starting this job, I was inexperienced as a leasing consultant, but advanced within 2 years! I was on my toes, working 24/7 with high anxiety levels daily! Not to mention, when work was over, I still had a family at home to tend to! I was always on call, so I never got a break! This job kept me from seeing friends, and my family! It was emotionally and mentally draining, as well as physically! I was under appreciated, and very under paid! I trained 3 Property Managers, to do their job, but was never given the position myself. I was constantly bullied by co-owners of this management company, which led to my professional resignation. Because I resigned, I was then evicted from my 3 bedroom unit I should have had every right to stay in upon resigning, as my regional supervisor had approved. I was then taken to court by two of my co-workers I'd worked with for 4 years, and watched as they lied to a judge about my rental payments. This was extremely unfortunate for my family, because I gave all I could for too long! Getting treated this way has driven me to settle no longer! I want nothing more but financial stability for my family! I want to know, that I can take care of us all on my own, and get paid what I deserve! So many people don't realize that corporate America is the biggest scam of them all! Having someone dictate your pay, your schedule, your appearance etc. is no way good for you! This means you must abide by their rules to earn a paycheck. I believe if you work hard, you should be paid for that!
