I WILL Help you make 2018 the Best Year Yet for Your Business

I know. You have heard it ALLLLLL before, especially this time of the year. "Resolve to do whatever IT TAKES" "All you need to do is commit" "It works If YOU Work".  I call bullshit.

Here is what I know.  You are ALREADY resolved to do WHATEVER it takes. You are CLEARLY committed to your business. AND, You are likely already working your ass off. Spinning your wheels trying like crazy to gain traction and exposure for your business.  If you weren't, we wouldn't have the pleasure of crossing paths on this particular platform.  

Here is the rest of what I know.  It takes a team/system/program/plan to enact change. IF that plan is the same as your plan last year, your expectation of results should be VERY similar to last year as well.  If you do not enact change, nothing will be different.

A lot of times, that's exactly what you want! Maybe you are a one-person wonder running your business solo, and you cannot fathom HOW you can scale your business based on the time that you are already putting in.  

Maybe you are completely satisfied with the income you make now, and wouldn't want to make another penny....... 

Wrong? Hopefully VERY wrong!  We ALL want each upcoming year to be our very best yet! We want to become our fittest, strongest, healthiest, most grounded, vibrant selves.  The thing about it is, that the MOST successful business owners ALSO want these amazing improvements for their businesses! 

The biggest question is this: HOW???  What actions can you make today to set yourself and your business up for your most prosperous year yet? Here are a couple of basics:

  1.      Take a really HONEST look at your business.  What areas did you grow? What areas did you improve? What new ideas did you implement, and what were their results?  I like to take a look through my month-by-month business journals to help me get a feel for WHY the highs were high, or most critically WHY the LOWS were so LOW.
  2.      Set realistic short and long term goals for your business.  Make them QUANTITATIVE. Use numbers and specific dates. Ex- Instead of "More sales in March" "15% increase from last years March numbers, equaling $xx,xxx"  When Goal Planning, start with your long term, and use your short term goals as a tracking mechanism, or building blocks that make up the long term goal.  QUANTIFY them on your calendar. 
  3.      Make a tangible plan of action, month by month, detailing what you will accomplish that month to reach your short and long term goals. Be very specific: "In Januaray, I will begin a new marketing program, using proximity based marketing devices to generate more exposure for my business. I have allocated a $200/month budget buffer for these marketing strategies, and I will be assessing their effectiveness in gaining more exposure on a weekly basis until March 2018"

I hope that YOU can find it within yourself to take the steps in guaranteeing that 2018 will be your best year yet.
