I joined Usborne to give me something to do after a period of ill health. I wanted to boost my confidence, smile again and read books!

What I have is so much more. For 48 my starter pack contained over 150 of books and stationery. I had a mentor, a great team and I got started. Was it easy? No. But it was fun. It still is. It gave me so much more than books and sales. It gave me a passion, friendships, social opportunities, chances to develop as an individual and, of course, my smile back!

During the coronavirus outbreak, the business has been a lifeline. A focus, a way of communicating and connecting with others, an opportunity to share something I love (and not just about books either) - I want people to see the person behind the business.
