A Set Back Turned into A Major Comeback!

The year was 2008. I had a nice prestigious job as a Regional Sales Manager for a advertising company based out of California. My Office was in Dallas Tx. I had a mid 6 figure income ,and life was pretty nice.

Then came the recession, and I saw my clients canceling their accounts that I had been living off of for the last 10 yrs ( because it was commission based. ) Consequently a 6 figure income got cut in half. This is when I knew I needed to do something different.  

I had been exposed to MLM multiple of times in my life and even tried a few companies ( 15 if you call that a few...) I never had any real success with those companies.; so I've created some doubts. Does this network marketing thing work?

In 2010 just  when you think things couldn't get worse? I received a $700 electricity bill from my utility company.

I remembered being approached about an opportunity ( MLM ) about a year prior,  that offered electricity services in the deregulated markets. One more time I decided to give this network marketing formula another try. 

Now going on 9yrs with Ambit Energy, I am so glad I didn't let my pass failures paralyze me - which would have caused me to miss out on this life changing opportunity . 

I am a top performer with Ambit Energy and I get the pleasure of 'time freedom' and 'money worries'.

What's even more enjoyable is helping others get to the same place of "freedom" I have expierenced. 

People have success with Ambit Energy because of 5 simple dynamics. 1- We offer our product at below wholesale, where most product based companies offer their product at 'retail plus plus'. They have to so they can pay out the commissions. 2- No selling. You already have electricity/natural gas. So how can I sell you on something you already have? When you offer a product money has to be collected from money you may have in your budget and then you may not. 3- No product training, its electricity/natural gas a nine year old knows how to turn lights on and off. With as product based company you have to learn all of the benefits of 'each' product you are offering. 4- Everyone uses it. ( everyone has to have it ) with a product ? I don't have to have it. My world is not going to end if I don't have it. 5- No change in buying habit how the consumer purchases our product. With a product based company how the person buys the product changes, you either have to wait for the distributer to deliver it to you? or you have to set up a 'auto ship'.

With all of those things up against a person, it is not surprising why I failed (and most other people ) in product based businesses.
