Get Paid To Book Travel

Do you research vacations? Book your own travel (or book travel for someone else)? What about posting about your adventures on social media? Do you have a passion for travel? I did and I was SHOCKED when I found out I could get paid for doing these things. I couldn’t believe I was working for free! What I learned 4 years ago was that travel suppliers (cruise lines, theme parks, vacation package companies) pay travel specialists who book with them a commission that is already built into the pricing. Bonus! I didn’t have to charge extra for my services because it was already included. It was a win/win for me AND my clients. I also learned that it is super easy to get started as a travel professional. There was a low start up fee & I could get my credentials immediately after registering. I booked my first cruise within 2 weeks and haven’t looked back! 

And the final thing I’ve learned over the years is that I love training new specialists and showing them how to make money in the travel business. So I started my coaching arm and now am able to register new agents & get them started off on the right foot. I provide marketing tips, social media posts, and support to my team. 

I think the thing I love most about this job is that I can work from anywhere with wifi. And, I’m doing what I was already doing. People also love to talk about travel, especially when they find out you’re a travel specialist. I seems to be easier to sell when people not only want to buy what you sell, but most likely WILL buy what you sell. You’ve already won half the battle. The rest of the battle is convincing them to buy it from you, which is what I teach in my mentor/coaching program.
