Build it (your web site) and they will come! BALONEY!

If you haven't figured it out yet, you eventually will.  This idea that a web site=customers is just flat out nonsense!

Look-  You can chase prospects randomly all you want with the "6 Foot Rule", embarrass yourself with your family and friends.  You can buy leads and make a ton of calls until the cows come home!  In the end in both cases, you "might" find a prospect or two, but that's a LOT of work and effort for very little return on the investment of your money and especially your time.

Here's the odd thing in all of that.  There are people looking for you.  There are people looking for your product and/or service but they don't "see" you, they don't even know you exist.

The days when you could get on the Internet and create a flurry of activity by posting some messages in chat rooms, on Facebook (Who remembers those days with CompuServe?!?!  With AOL after they bought out CompuServe?); those days are gone, gone forever.

How about Postcards?  Remember when you would get the occasional postcard in the mail for a "HOT OPPORTUNITY"?  OR how about the "cassette tape" in the mail?  Who remembers the Dr.'s tape that flooded mailboxes across the country for over a year?

How about running ads in publications like Money Makers Monthly? (Does it even exist anymore?  I don't think so- at least not in its original format.)  Or some of the other now defunct industry publications.

So what has changed sine the hey-days of jumping on the Internet and announcing your new network marketing business, the "pre launch" big announcement- get in and be on the "ground floor" (before a zillion other people <g>) ... what's different now?

Well how about in excess of a million mlm-network marketing web sites?  Or how about the rise of network marketing and the ease thanks to technology advancements for launching a new mlm opportunity? A dozen more are launching right now as I write this article!

It's no wonder you and your web site are invisible!  It should come as no surprise to you if you in fact do have a web site that few if ANY strangers are contacting you to join your opportunity because they discovered your web site and were sold right away!  You can count on one hand the number of customers and distributors you have that came to you that way.  And you probably don't need all five fingers either to count the number of them.
