Your Five Options in MLM
Today, I want to share your five options in MLM. These are the different commitment levels you can have in your business. There is no right or wrong answer. Ultimately, you have to decide what is best for you.
The key to remember is that your goals must match your commitment level (and skill-set) if you ever want to succeed in the business.
Customer
This is someone who sees the value in the company's products or services. You either sign up as a retail customer or sign up as a distributor, so you can get a discount on your own personal purchase.
For most people, this is probably your best option. Why? Because our industry has some amazing products, and at the end of the day, most people are really not willing to commit to growing a business.
Most of the people who do join to do it as a business end up in this category when life gets in the way.
Hobbyist
This is someone who is really here for the social club aspect. They like making new friends, learning new skills, traveling to events, and spending a little bit of time in their business each week. To this type of person, it's not really a business. It's a hobby. It gives them fulfillment and purpose, even if they aren't making money.
Part-Timer
This is the person who has the desire to make an extra $1,000 to $5000 per month working part-time. Their MLM Business is their side hustle.
They will commit 10-20 hours to their business each week on money producing activities. They normally have a career and a lot of things to manage, but they make time each week for their business.
Serious Rep
This represents no more than 1% of the people in your team, and probably less than that. These are the folks who will make a full-time commitment to their business.
They believe what's possible. They see the vision. They develop their skills and do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes to succeed. They are leaders, doers and achievers.
Wannabe Dreamer
This is the person I really can't stand to be around. They talk a big game, but do nothing. They usually have a ton of excitement when they first join an opportunity, but they fizzle out as quick as they got excited.
They normally don't stay in the business past 30 to 90 days. They aren't willing to work or commit. They're like a junkie looking for their next fix.
The Big Question
What commitment level are you? More importantly, do your goals match your commitment level? If not, you need to make some adjustments to either your goals or your commitment level, so you have realistic expectations.
Final Thoughts
What are your thoughts? What do you think about these five commitment levels in your MLM Business? Leave a reply to let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.
