Growing Art Portfolio

Since I was a little girl, I always loved art. Some kids wanted to go to Astroworld and I admit I did too, but not as bad as going to the museum. At a young age, art galleries were places I longed to visit. I didn't have anyone to take me and whenever there was a field trip to a museum, I would make sure I had my permission slip signed right away. I used to dream about my art one day being displayed in galleries all across the world, I would live in Paris, be rich and draw all day. Life was so simple then and as I became an adult found out its not as easy as I thought it would be. Over time, my confidence shrank and I almost gave up on my dreams. That fire within me to be an artist has never died and is still flame. 

I am an introvert who is looking to share my gifts and talents with the world. I have been working on my art portfolio for years and feel ready to share with the world. My mediums vary. I like using alcohol markers and colored pencils. Painting has always been intimidating to me, but I have been practicing. Some of the work includes pieces I create while in art school and some that I did in my leisure time. I am looking for my artwork to thrive so I am here to share. It doesn't include my life's work, but there are a few good pieces I can show.

I love to create. Period. I have pictures in my head that I desperately want to get on paper, Words that echo that I want the world to hear. Pain in my heart that I am seeking to heal and find other that can relate. I put my heart, soul and emotions into the work that I do. Social media is helping to at least be able to share with others, not just friends and family, avenues my whole life I was accustomed to. I have so much to say, but feel not enough time, I want to touch as many people as I can. I want them to feel through my words, through my work and see the world through my eyes.
