In our business we are FOREVER against animal testing In October 2018, This business and Cruelty Free International took 8.3 million voices from all over the world to the United Nations HQ in New York to call for a global end to animal testing in cosmetics.

Theres a lot misinformation dotted all over the place around animal testing companies. Even saw someone claim that we are starting to test on animals which is not true. We are a cruelty free brand at heart!

Did you know that companies can say they are cruelty free but not be fully cruelty free. They can say cruelty free except when required by law

This is why you should look for the bunny and PETA certifications!

People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are the largest animal rights organisation in the world. Here at The Body Shop, we work closely with PETA in our Forever against animal testing campaign.

To be deemed as a cruelty free company- you need to be dedicated to producting products that do not harm, nor test on animals.

Look out for the Leaping Bunny Logo. The Leaping Bunny Logo can only be displayed by brands that dont test on animals. Were proud to feature the Leaping Bunny Logo

Ps when a company said its not old enough to be classed as Cruelty free... Its another excuse. You can LAUNCH as cruelty free. They typically are hiding that they test or will not prove and do the research into the origins of their products/ingredients
