Partnerships
If you are on MLMGateway looking to partner with people that is wonderful. There is only one thing wrong, you may want to partner with someone because they have a great product but not always does that person want or need to partner with you.
For example how many people of a particular company are there with MLMGateway? If you are the first person from that company to connect with a person from another company then you are possibly the first to get the partnership although the product is good for everyone. What that now means is that everyone else cannot be a partner because the person is already in the company.
I for example am continually being asked to partner with people because they see the value of my product to promote theirs. I wish I could partner with everyone but that is totally impossible. There are so many good companies with great products on MLMGateway but not all fit with who I am and the vision I have for my business.
I am a Health/Life Coach and Small Business Venture and at this point in my business I can only take on so many businesses.
I promote a GREAT product that everyone can use to promote their business and they give it away, it is a GIFT CARD. It is a great way to get someone’s attention and an awesome way to open the conversation up to talk about your product or company. For example if you go up to someone and ask them if they have heard of “2 Live Their Best Life” Coaching and Small Business Mentoring Services they probably would say NO and not give you the time of day. BUT if you were to approach that same person and say “here is a $200 travel discount gift card for you compliments of 2 Live Your Best Life Services” they would stop and ask you what the card is and you would explain and then say again who it was a gift from and then they probably would ask you who or what they are.
It is a great way to promote your business and to help you to reach people who would possibly never give you the time of day otherwise. On the back of each card you put you company name, your name and contact info so people can reach out to you.
What is great is through the card you are building a business without trying. People use the card and you get 50% of $200. Because of the way the website is set up, when they activate the card they see a bit about the company and how they can either continue to just get discounts by being a member or how by being an IBO they too can give away the cards and make money.
So it is a WIN, WIN opportunity for you no matter whether it is people coming to you for your product or people using the discount gift card and you getting paid.
Although partnering is great, don’t be so concerned about people always becoming a partner with you if they have something that can be of value to you.
