Attraction Marketing Formula


Back in the caveman days I LIVED in prospecting mode.


My whole life revolved around it.


No joke...


For nine months, my life consisted of meetings, home parties, and chasing after (and alienating) friends, family, coworkers, and basically anyone I could opportunistically rope into a prospecting conversation.


I had a little success, but it felt inauthentic building my business that way. Not only that, but my reputation suffered.


My family thought it was beneath me.


They said, bluntly...


“You’re an MIT graduate. You have a prestigious great job as an aerospace engineer. What are you doing selling vitamins?"


But when I signed up...


I didn't how else to approach people, because that's what I'd been taught.


Now...


It didn't take me long to realize there MUST be better ways to find people than targeting complete strangers.


Once I discovered attraction marketing, I was able to use social media and digital strategies to build a receptive audience and meaningfully connect with my prospects in an authentic way.


Within two years I was making 6-figures and quit my job.


So, all that said...


Should you cold prospect?


After all, I'm sure you were told EVERYONE needs what you've got, so you should talk to everyone, right?


Well, here's the thing...


People almost never buy what they actually need.


Once their basic needs are met, they buy what they want.


And even if you think they should want what you've got...


If they've got a roof over their head, clothes on their back, food in the fridge, and they're not having some type of relevant crises... they don't really need it.


So if you want them to buy...


They'll first have to develop a burning desire for your product or your business... before they'll say "yes."


And yeah, cold prospecting can do the trick.


Plenty of people have earned obscene wealth that way, after all.


But it's the toughest way to build.


And that's a fact.


Because, let's face it...


Most people will blow you off and you're gonna have to talk to a LOT of people, get a TON of "nos," and deal with an absurd amount of rejection.


So unless you really like awkward conversations or stubbornly want to become "rejection proof"...
