Have you been paying attention to what’s going on in the world today? I’m not just talking about here in America. Companies are laying off the masses, and only the key people at the top are safe. Yahoo is in trouble and laying off 15% of its workers, Google is laying off workers and so is Wal Mart. These are some of the biggest companies in America, so what about the company you work for or even your small or midsized company? Yet they are saying that the economy is turning around! For who, you?? Really??

Even in Real Estate you are seeing financing getting even more difficult as if it isn’t already. We are facing another looming round of properties to hit the market, commercial this time and it is going to be Hugh. I am not preaching doom and gloom just letting you know that what you are hearing and seeing is indeed true and you are not alone.

 What are you going to do then? If you are planning on going back to school that is a good idea but know that even the college kids coming out of school now are having a difficult time because there aren’t many jobs out there. What are you planning on doing to preparing yourself? You need a plan, Don’t wait till you get the pink slip/email…… You are worth more than that and a lot of you have a family to provide for. What is your plan? Do you have one? If you are not thinking now and looking now, then you are already behind. If you are the lucky few who don’t have to worry because you are in key positions then good for you, but even you need to have a backup plan to keep your income growing or at least stable where it is now.

The market place is constantly changing and we have to change with it or get left behind. I have my back up plan in place and it has become my go to, along with my primary business which is my real estate business. As a matter of fact, it is just as my real estate business because if real estate continues to go the way it is going at this point then I must have more than that to rely on. I t is not so important for me to tell you what I am doing to create a second source of income and a source that can grow alongside my main business but I will tell you that it is essential that you put something in place now and begin working on something to secure your future.
