The great thing about community and culture is being part of something greater than yourself, but knowing you aren't by yourself. I have been on the pursuit for my piece of the pie for years, and if you were to draw a map of my journey, you would come across a ton of "wrong turn" signs along the way. Even though I have had more than my fair share of disappointments, I have gained plenty of life lessons that have lead me to the the land of self-discovery. My self-discovery has developed me into the leader I always wanted for myself, but seldom found. I discovered the type of opportunity I would consciously support. An opportunity designed for the masses without breaking the bank. An opportunity that could provide true financial freedom for anyone who worked hard sharing the product/service with common folk. Not just marketing to others who were looking for a business opportunity. An opportunity where the product/service is the main focus.
In my personal life, my professional career took a nose dive. I am so glad that I developed the sense of how important having a backup plan is in life. In this day and age, establishing a Plan B, side hustle, whatever you want to call it, is essential. We live in a world of uncertainty. Where seasoned professionals get recycled out for the less or no experienced will-work-for-less-pay worker. Security is what you create for yourself, and you have to be willing to be innovative, and think outside the box when you are looking to create new opportunities for yourself.
