If this is a wheel, how come it doesn't roll?
What is a pioneer? Why do we admire them so much?
I would rather fail by trying something new than fail by doing the same thing that has a proven history of massive failure.
Herman Melville said it like this:
"It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation."
Yet imitating the “success” of others in network marketing seldom works. Why is that? People insist their system works, but does it really work? Or is it personality driven?
Don't try to reinvent the wheel... Have you ever heard that? I must have heard that a thousand times…in my network marketing career.
“Don't reinvent the wheel.”
“If it ain't broke don't fix it.”
Well, I'm here to tell you something. What if it never worked to begin with? Maybe it was never even a wheel either?
Wheels have a 100% success rate in rolling!
Network marketing has a dismal .3% success rate as a profitable business model. That is a fact.
No sugar coating it. MLM is not and never has been comparable to a working wheel. Additionally it is probably the least wheel like mechanism for generating money ever for the average person. Gambling in Las Vegas is more likely to net a profit. But the only ones profiting are the companies and a few high ranking distributors. They have built things into their business structure so they will always win. They are “The House” and the scales are even more tipped in their favor.
The “wheel” in network marketing in its various iterations has been:
Talk to as many people as you can, as quickly as you can, it doesn't matter who they are, whether you know them or not, and you'll find three or four people that will make you ridiculously wealthy.
Or
Put up a landing page, with the various squeeze and capture pages and advertise on google to generate poor quality business seeker leads and call it Attraction marketing .
Or
Spam your facebook friends and groups and you will find some people. That is changing to some extent, but the problems are pretty universal. Issue avoidance is one of the hallmarks of any institutionalized subculture or group. And network marketing is an institution believe it or not. Most companies that are profiting at the expense of the majority have no motive to change. Change in most circumstances arises through pain or crisis. That is how it came for me.
We use stupid terms like:
"TAKE MASSIVE AND IMMEDIATE ACTION"
Or...
We tell the associates they need to go on a recruiting blitz. Why do we need to do that if you only need 3 or 4? Because you will actually have to recruit hundreds in most cases to find even 2 who will be worth anything. That is what I had to do, and I refuse to put that burden on anyone else any longer.
Why sample expensive products to people who can't afford or don't want them, hoping for a customer?
That is a surefire prescription for debt.
Those methods may have been more effective 30 years ago but simply won't work anymore because you have millions of reps in hundreds of companies going after the same distributor pool which is continually shrinking. With the advent of google, amazon, and the explosion of competition in most every market segment you will need to think more creatively than the:
“broken wheel paradigm”.
Here are some facts about our industry.
Jon M. Taylor, PhD conducted comprehensive research and analysis of the compensation plans of over 400 various MLM companies and presented his findings in his e-book, “The Case (For And) Against Multi-Level Marketing." His findings, which are posted on the FTC website, are pretty sobering:
After finishing all of his analysis and research on various MLM data, Jon Taylor concluded, “In every case, using the analytical framework described, the loss rate for all these MLMs ranged from 99.05% to 99.99%, with an average of 99.71% of participants losing money in an MLM.

The only thing I'm trying to do is for you to broaden your perspective. See some things you haven't considered before, realities about this industry of which you may not be aware, that I recently discovered through painstaking research. It also coincides from my experience that I have had over the last 20 plus years.
I am asking you to SHIFT your focus from a Network marketing mindset to having a world-class business mindset. In other words, stop thinking like a Network marketer and start thinking like an entrepreneur. The failure rate in this industry for any person's profitability is 99.7% when calculating expenses vs. net commissions. With those kind of numbers, changing the method is the only way any individual or group can profit long-term. That is why I decided to undertake the course I am pursuing now.
I'm Looking for a select few who are smart enough to see there must be a change. When I say few I mean less than 10 to work on and build a world class business model that will make other network marketers scratch their heads and look at With Envy. Now I only require a handful of teachable hungry forward thinking leaders to help me. Like any business I want workers with vision who can see opportunity and want a share.
