5 FACEBOOK TIPS FOR BETTER ENGAGEMENT

1 - POST YOUR OWN CONTENT ✅

The Facebook algorithm HATES when you post anything that isn’t yours. Let me clarify. They aren’t judging the originality of the idea, they just want you to post yourself. In other words, never share anything, even your own post. Facebook will limit how many people see that post severely. The same thing goes for posting links on your profile. Facebook wants to keep people on Facebook. Any post that links to an article, website, youtube video, etc. will get almost no organic reach.

2 - POST VALUABLE CONTENT THAT YOUR AUDIENCE WILL APPRECIATE ✅

If your audience is a bunch of fitness nuts, don’t make a long, boring post about your grandmother’s new flower garden! Post content that will speak to your audience. What are they interested in? What do they agree with? What will benefit them? If they can learn something new from you every time you post, they will engage more on your posts and start to view you as an authority in your niche.

3 - ENGAGE ON OTHER PEOPLE'S POSTS ✅

The Facebook algorithm will never show your posts to every single one of your friends. So who will it show them to? People whose content you have engaged on! So throughout the day, and particularly right before you post, spend some time commenting on other people’s posts. Hitting the like button does nothing for the algorithm. Clicking one of the other reactions, like the Love heart, will add a bit of juice though!

4 - HAVE CONVERSATIONS IN THE COMMENTS ✅

Facebook loves interaction. So when someone comments on your post, reply to them and try to start a conversation. If you go back and forth with someone in the comments, Facebook will see that post as more interesting and relevant. Also, that person will be much more likely to see future posts of yours.
